CIRCUS ANIMATIC (courtesy of AMAC)
hEY PPLS!
Here is a link to the CIRCUS ANIMATIC
Give it a few minutes to load as the file size is a little over 2MB. I tired uploading it as a video to the blog but blogger kept coming up with errors. If you'd rather me email it to you in an attachment just let me know.

A start? To add to, or subtract from ... or completely dis?
Very quickly want to jot down the scenario.
Is the main gist ... love? diversity? even weird carnie-circus people can find someone? etc...?
No. The whole point of the exercise is a simple squashed-clown-fat-lady gag, couched in a sort of overcoming-even-the-most-difficult-of-circumstances to achieve a happy ending.
Begin with hands of a person playing an amazing organ, but only funny circus music coming out.
Pan back to see bearded lady organist, perhaps circus canopy empty church.
Initially feet x 3 down aisle (half man half woman first, then strong man, and perhaps a clown ... or?). Followed quickly by noise of mass movement and previously empty pews are full (kind of instant).
Wedding march (still with circusy sound) begins and monkey-flower girl throwing popcorn from stripey container leads the way (could do a few acrobatics along the way), heavy quaking footsteps (King Kong style) alarm on congregations face, then relief when big bride arrives.
Mild panic ...no flowers, magician(giving bride away) produces from sleeve, after 3 tries - scarves, bunny, flowers.
Bride continues to proceed with magician, but wedged, pews and people all lean away to make room, suction sound and then POP as she gets through and reels forward, (leaving magic behind) on ridiculously high shoes.
Jumping to see and be high enough, someone brings the little clown groom a set of steps, climbs and is at happy level (biggest smile spreads on face).
Open-mouth clown-priest turning head towards each ...do you take this... little clown overcome with tears, finds BIG polkadot hanky, shakes it out, blows nose loudly, where to put? Bride gently takes it away and deposits it in ample bosom.
Clown head priest continues, ring? More panic, where (perhaps this can be extended depending on timing)? Eventually found, about to put on finger, overbalances, falls against bride, together they teeter, backwards, forwards, back again, then straight forward squashing little clown. Initially turning round and round to find. Locates and peels away from body, squished flat, shakes out a little - very floppy, tries again, lifts an arm, drops, then another. Finally, perhaps someone whispers in her ear...removes little groom's red nose, holds clown (real) nose to mouth and gently blows, popping/inflating bodyparts, bit by bit.
You may now kiss the bride - drum roll. The kiss.
Great applause,cannons, fireworks, tickertape etc...
Little ankle bump (in air) by clown-groom as newlyweds proceed, happily married, back down the aisle, followed by happy crowd.
Last scene, huge woman and tiny clown, cart and mini trike, peddling madly, blissfully into sunset.
(basic storyboard and character possibilities on the way)

Triple J advert
Hi All,
I searched the triple J site and couldn't find any current animation or video advert competitions. The one we talked about in class was the Pixel Freaks Competition.
Rob suggested that we just continue with the Triple J theme anyway and if we make something cool enough we could send it in. So I was hoping to get a discussion going about what we want to do. (I'm talking to both teams...)
I thought we could do an advert or maybe several very short ads (5-15 seconds each).
What do you guys want to do?
Also, I have added you all to the comments and posts email lists, so you will now get emailed any updates to the blog. That way you don't have to worry about regularly checking it. If you want to be taken off the lists, remove your email from:
'Settings>Comments>Comment Notification Email' and
'Settings>Email>Blogsend Address' or
email me and I'll do it for you.

Bbears
Aaaaaaarrrggghhh. Where/how do I upload stuff, pleeease help me. I'm almost coping with the commenty bit, and did find an uploady bit for a while - but I can't find it anymore? I'm sorry you've been lumped with the retard.
Bears in trees
I have drawn/set up the bears and thought I would test them against the bkg. I realise that they look a bit boring and the framing is very tight, but when they move and turn etc. I don't think it'll feel as cramped. And as for the boringness, hopefully being animated will get rid of that. (click images for larger)
Flat colour on bkg.

Bear Animatic
Hi y'all!
I've done a quick animatic based on Matthew's stuff (below).

I think it got stretched out a bit.
I don't have the smarts to put a frame counter in there... but I probably could have just downloaded one. Comment/email me if you'd like the fla file to change to your tastes.
Also, I drew up a couple of trees and a very ugly child the other day:
