Here is a link to the CIRCUS ANIMATIC
Give it a few minutes to load as the file size is a little over 2MB. I tired uploading it as a video to the blog but blogger kept coming up with errors. If you'd rather me email it to you in an attachment just let me know.

This is looking and sounding really good. I have to admit, on Tuesday I was a bit concerned about the lack of story, but Annie has really defined it well.
Watching the animatic over, it is very fast paced. Is there maybe too much crammed into it? Also, there are a lot of characters- that's a lot of designing and animating. What technique are we going to use for the most part for this? Graphic puppets in flash?
With the hanky part, I imagine very limited and snappy frames, with lots of squash and stretch. Like Greg was showing us the other day with the character that suddenly snapped from one spot to the other but then there was a lot of cushioning to explain what just happened.
But I suppose with the fat bride, her movements would be very slow and heavy. I think that would add to the couple's contrasting qualities.
Where would we find or how could we make a circus wedding march?! That'll be a tough one.
Ramble ramble...
I'll ask my step dad if he can record a circus/wedding march style sound, he's a musician. He just bought this crazy as mixing desk that does everything and anything. I might start producing some of my own bEATS! haHA!
Also, If you can't see the buttons and text on the animatic you'll need to update your flash browser plugin.

oHH yeah!
figster!
Don't forget 1pm tomorrow (Saturday)....
Thanks for posting the veeerry basic animat Kyle. Stepdad music input and mixing desk sounds great. Have a go - perhaps it can be a little bit hiphop circussy? I've been trying a bit on my mandolin. Not quite concert material, maybe could go into the mix. Any luck with royalty-free sound files?
I agree Hannah it's absolutely over crammed - thought it would be better to start with too much, then slash and burn, please feel free to chuck out anything you think is extraneous (is that a real word?). Could probably lose the individual feet down the aisle and just go straight from no guests (stampede sound) to full church, and maybe lose the organist???
I did find one of the royalty free sound CD's and there are some sounds on there we could use. I'll bring it in on Tuesday.
I'll make a start on picture 17 of the story- Eventually found (ring), about to put on finger, overbalances, falls against bride, together they teeter, backwards, forwards, back again, then straight forward squashing little clown. Initially turning round and round to find. Locates and peels away from body, squished flat, shakes out a little - very floppy, tries again, lifts an arm, drops, then another. Finally, perhaps someone whispers in her ear...removes little groom's red nose, holds clown (real) nose to mouth and gently blows, popping/inflating bodyparts, bit by bit.
amac is making a start on the characters
